About the PSC

The Professional Standards Committee (PSC) leads the efforts to provide relevant and clear professional standards and guidance to the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).

Within the INTOSAI, its work is important to add credibility to the individual auditor and the resulting audit reports.

The Committee´s specialized working bodies follow and discuss new developments and practices in government auditing, leveraging the experience of professionals from Supreme Audit Institutions around the world.

The current Chair and Vice-Chair of the PSC are the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) and the European Court of Auditors (ECA).
